194 is my normal operating temperature during the cold winter days. Engine will run all of the way until 207/208 and then the thermostat will open for the first time. After that, the temperature will dip back down to 192, climb to 194 and stay there. 160 is absolutely not the normal operating temperature of the engine and you'll be hard pressed to get a regen to start if you never get above that temperature

I did take the cover off today. Today was over 65 degrees and that's just too warm to run the cover. I'm sure I'll have it back on the truck as soon as it dips below 20 again in the morning.
