Cool cummins swap

hi to you all i have the chance of a 1960 f350 dullay in pretty good condition im thinking of a cummins swap

was seeking advice any body done this swap thoughts please any information would be much appreciated

Thumbs up cummins swap

hi i dont have any photos i live in england the f350 arived at the docks on friday im going to have a look when its cleared coustoms hopefulluy late this week

i will take some then i was after some tips on the swap i thought this would be the best place to ask i will post some photos when i have them

The 6 cylinder cummins is a pretty long engine compared to most v8's. I'd think you'll have to make major modifications to the firewall & core support to make it work. I swapped a 400 into mine & had to go with electric fans due to clearance issues.

Perkins is dominant on your side of the pond, maybe a 354. Did they ever put Leland diesels in trucks? I've seen Deutz diesels in F100's over here. Fan spinning looks funny with no radiator.

yes they did put leyland and perkins but not quite in the same league as a cummins
