Hey everybody, I am in need of some help looking for all the weather stripping for my 66c850 I've had some from Number dummy on my vin. I would think somewhere out there I could get them seeing how they made the truck for 33 years. Any help would greatly be apreciated thanks.
So if I can't buy weather stripping how would anyone restore one of these just drive it until the windshield falls out lol. I mean I can find parts on my old cars 100 times as rare but not a widely used truck made for 33 years kinda stinks!
As far as the windshield goes these guys should be able to supply the rubber. Think of what customizers do to get their glass to fit after they chop something up. Classic Glass For Classic Cars

Very few people restore 500 and larger series trucks, why the repro parts sellers don't reproduce parts for them, since there's next to no demand.
The other problem is, you have a C series. Weather strips that fit 1961/66 F100/350 also fit F500/1100, 1963/69 N/NT500/1100, 1967/69 F800/1000.
All these trucks use a similar cab, but the repro parts sellers don't list weather strips for 500 and larger series trucks. They only list F100/350 and ALL these weatherstrips are reproduced.
I like the big trucks, but one needs a place to park these elephantine behemoths.
I really appreciate the help guys, I've owned 52 f6's much easier to find parts this is my first c series. What about Steele would they maybe work with something like this as well? I will be taking the info you guys have me and will look into it further. I have one other question is the 401 a decent motor? And if it is would electronic ignition, headers, and a fuel injection mod be a good upgrade for the truck I plan to loose the boom and the parts for the tow. I am trying for best mpg I can I know it's very low to start but maybe those mods, and the weight might help thanks again for your time and NumberDummy people like you help people like me stay in the restoration I appreciate it a lot.
