Engine size?
Can I tell if my 99 f150 is a 4.6 vs a 5.4 by the exhaust pipe size? It pipe was cut off behind the catalytic converter.

open the hood and look at the cover over the motor.......... look at the sticker on the drivers door.......... look at the stickers above the radiator cover......... you should get a note somewhere.

The 99 4.6L has 2 coil packs and plug wires. The 5.4 has coil on plug.
