Trouble starting
Ok I have a 1997 7.3 4x4 380,000 on odometer but had a swap for a newer engine only 80,000 on the motor and trans. But the other day I started having some problems starting and it ran real rough, so i decided to change the glowplugs,gpr,ipr,icp,vss, fuel pump, water pump thermostat housing and all with all new hoses, starter starter relay,
but now 9 times out of 10 the truck starts fine but ever so often I turn the key and get nothing no click no starter spin just nothing so I jump ot at the starter relay and it slowly starts up like the batteries are dead, so I replaced the starter relay again just to make sure be ause the batteries are pretty new like maybe a year old. But I also get a bogged down when accelerating not real bad it's more of a sound than performance if that makes any sense. Hope someone can help thanks.

For the 1 out of 10 no start issues, I'd remove, check and clean all your ground connections, including the starter relay on the fender. See if that helps.
Bogged down when accelerating sounds like a fuel restriction. Have you checked fuel pressure under load?

thank you I'll check the connection on break today and I'll have to try and get a fuel pressurprgauge.

If there is a jet engine sound thats the EBPV closing to warm up the motor
