Rear parking sensor issue

well I put my truck in reverse and it immediately started beeping and showing the left rear corner red-
i wiped the eye off but still beeps like it is faulted-
anyway to reset or clear or did it just go bad?
cold out and hard to get to so I didn’t unplug and replug but I did wiggle and check it was connected

Mine has done that occasionally when it's been below freezing out. I figured it was just frost or dirt. I didn't clean my sensors off like you said you did, so it must be something else... Never really thought much more about it and all was fine the next time...

Did you just run through a car wash? Mine does it all of the time after being washed in cold weather. Once It sits in my warm garage overnight its fine in the morning.

It rained a bit yesterday and is COLD today so maybe,
it is always outside so it never warms up?

Mine did the same thing yesterday. It looked clean. But when I scraped it with my fingernail a thin layer of ice was on it. It stopped beeping once I cleaned it off.

I had a 2015 F150 that did this, and my 2017 F250 does this. It's a minor annoyance.

Add me to this list of annoyance. Lol
Goiing to add this to my list of little things to talk to them about when I take it in for the first oil change.

Throw some dielectric in all the connectors. It will at least rule out the plugs, and also keep out any moisture.
