Hey,
Thanks guys, I guess this one don't have one.The wiring diagram for 88 says that it has one, i guess not. I was wondering because I am starting to stall when I am making slow sped turns and thought that might be a place to look before I get into fuel and ignition systems.
My Haynes manual states that if it's bad it will cause a rough idle. Doesn't say whether a 300 would have it. I know my 302's have the switch, so I'll assume that the 351 does too? It also says to have a Certified mechanic work on the switch...
Hey All,I think and hope I found the problem. I also had other symptoms, surging rpm at idle, stalling making turns at slow speed, especially with the A/C on. Well, I pulled off the fuel filter and I could hardly blow through it. I installed another one and the idle has smoothed out. Havent driven it yet so don't know "The Rest of The Story" yet. I do not have anything that will adapt to that schrader to check the fuel pressure so will try it. I thought about making a pressure tester out of a bicycle tire pump hose with a 0-60 psi gage attached but havent got around to it. Thanks all.
