After 9+ years I'm putting my V10 up for sale once I fix a fuel pump issue. It was definitly my favorite vehicle I've owned so far. It did great towing my 30ft TT and never left me stranded. We are planning on selling it and our Town & Country and replacing them with a Expedition or Explorer and a small daily driver (Focus, Golf, etc...). The T&C though I will be happy to see go, it hasn't broken down or anything, but that thing is falling apart and has electrical gremlins since the first day I owned it!
You are probably wondering why I'm selling it. We are also selling our 30ft TT as it is too big for our favorite campgrounds. We are planning on getting a <20ft hybrid and with a smaller SUV hope we can go more places and afford the gas to go on longer trips. I am also stuck leaving the shell on the 350 as it is registered as a passenger vehicle in California, so I might as well just switch to an SUV and have more room inside for our gear and kids. As the 350 is a '99 is will also be nice to get something with some bells and whistles such as Navigation, DVD, etc... Not a huge priority, but a nice perk. Most of it comes down to costs, and a lot of that I blame on living in California, but this is where the work is.
I'll be sad to see it go, but hoping with the low mileage (<95k miles) and it also being CC, manual transfer case, long bed, etc...that I'll get a good price for it. From what I've seen on the market I may even get as much as I paid for it in 2010! I haven't been on here that much lately, but thanks to all of you that have helped me out over the years. If any of you are over on the Expedition/Navigator or the Explorer sections, you'll probably see me over there in a couple months if everything goes as planned.
I don't know what the market is like where you are, but nearly all the V10's I see around here have double that mileage. I agree with johnfist. It will move quickly.
As I have a 99 super cab short box 4x4 , and I watch the market ,I see I could get as much for mine , as I paid for it 6 years ago .
being g a manual trans seems to help a bit more ,.
I have 238k miles on him now , was 130 when I bought it .
good luck ,.
Up in British Columbia V10s are fetching premium $$, selling for more than the diesels. I got in a bidding war on a sweet 2010 lariat with 430 cogs and lost out!

I'm back! Had a family issue that derailed everything for a year. But I haven't sold it yet, though it has been on a non-op for over a year and has only been used to move my travel trailer around the property. The travel trailer is on the market, and once it sells I will be putting it up for sale after putting in a new fuel pump, removing the camping gear in the back seats, and giving it a bath. It goes for months without running, which i hate doing to it, but it fires right up after I get the fuel pump spinning with a few taps on the fuel tank.

Yeah, I've been seeing ones in the area with much higher mileage selling for more than what I'm thinking of asking.

My profile should have some pictures, if I took any pictures right now you would just see the dust on it and the junk the family left in it after our last trip in the cab. I'm thinking of starting at $10k, though I will probably be willing to go lower. It does only have just over 90k miles on it though.

I hope not, though I am going to miss it A LOT. I've been driving an AWD V6 Saturn Vue as a daily driver. And while it gets much better fuel mileage, sometimes I just don't care about all the gas it's drinking when I hear that V10 smoothly pushing that heavy truck up to 80 without hesitation.
I'll try to update this thread when I put it up for sale in case any of you are close enough to be interested.
