Spark plug wrench

Hello, I have a 2002 F-250 V-10 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4. It has 161,000 miles on it . It has the deep wall ports. Some have said I need to buy a special spark plug socket so I don't break the spark plug. I already have a liasle tool if a spark plug does break. Any assistance be appreciated.
thank you

A standard spark plug socket & some extensions are what you need. It needs the rubber insert to grip the plug after it is spun loose so you can pick it up out of the hole. Otherwise you might need a Shop-Vac or some duck tape. The Lisle tool is for the 3 valve engines that use a longer multi-piece spark plug that is prone to break off when you try to remove it. Yours is 2 valve.

I've used the regular spark plug socket. A short piece of fuel hose works good to to pull the plugs out or get them started.

Spark plug tool

Thank you all who responded. I didn't think so but wanted to make sure. My 2007 Lincoln Mark LT which is a 3 valve was a different story.
thank you
