I was driving down the road and my truck started to cut in and out while doing thia I noticed the service engine soon light and my wait to start light come on. This happened to me twice in about 10 seconds then my engine shut off. Once I got stopped I put the truck in park and turned my key to the off position and them back to the on position. When I turn my key to the on position the service engine soon light comes on but not my wait to start light. What would couse this? I changed my cam position sensor and still when I turn my key to the on position the service engine is on but not wait to start. My truck will crank but not start. Any suggestions?
The WTS Light is Fuse 30 under dash. I had the same issue, turned out fuse 30 was very loose, I put a bit of solder on the fuse to thicken the blades. I then made up 6 of them just to have with me.
Did you replace the cps with an OEM or Aftermarket? These trucks do NOT like aftermarket sensors period. If you did use aftermarket, replace with OEM and check fuse 30.
