Hey I wanted to just post an update in case someone out there wants this info as i had a hard time finding it myself, or making a decision. I had stock 18" rims and tires on my 15 f350. I wanted a meaner look but the ole wallet couldn't take new 20" black/chrome rims and 35" tires just to run in summertime so i wanted a beefier looking tire that would perform decent in the snow. I settled on a 285-75 r18. Its only an inch wider on top but it measures a 35" circumference. Also it carries more weight than stock.Rides better due to taller sidewalls, stock was 33.5 i believe.Attached what it looks like with the new tires
nice wheels... I recently upgraded the wheels on my truck too. went form a 17" steel wheel with 315/70/17 tires to a 18" king ranch wheel with 325/65/18" tire.
Thanks for posting this. I’ve been trying to answer the same questions for the same setup, but a F-250. What tire did you go with? I’ve been looking at the Falken WildPeaks.
I wanted cooper s but i heard they are very soft and then i looke at nittos but they werent snowflake branded for heavy snow service. I ended up with yokohama geolanders at go15. I do some plowing and i didnt want to take a chance on spending $1300 on a tire that ill have for 3-4yrs. I put about 1000 miles on them so far. Wet traction has been good and ive yet to get any snow so i cannot answer how they are in that aspect. Dash says ive lost about 1 mpg but i havent calculated how many rotations ive lost due to larger than stock size to compensate . Hope this helps

It does thanks. I’m just looking for something more agressive that has good traction when wet. They’ll see ocational off-road (nothing technical) and even less snow.
For what it's worth, I put a set of Falken wild peak tires on my 250 beginning of plow season two years ago. I usually run cooper's on my winter set and had nitto dune grapplers on the summer set before the falkens. Had one of my cooper's get cut and had to throw on the falkens to go plow, I was very impressed. Made it to my fourth lot before I noticed I was still in 2wd. They are still holding up quite well. I will definitely be buying them when it comes time to replace the toyos on my 350.
