Alright; I've got a '93 F150 we're converting to MAF and running a Moates Quarter Horse on it supplied by CORETuning with the correct Maps. I couldn't find a MAF computer locally so I bought one off RockAuto based on moates.net suggesting it would work. The computer is a F5TF-12A650-AEC running the RAN2 system and I wired it like a '95 F150 running a MAF 5.8L/E4OD (VinH). The issues I'm having now are codes 511 (which I know is just because the quarter horse is installed), 637, 212, 327, 621 and it starts off in second gear when you put it in drive. Otherwise the truck seems to run ok save for needing tuning (it has a large cam). I am assuming I have a trans wiring issues and the 637 (TFT Sensor Above MAX) and 621 (SS1 Failure) indicate that. I have run resistance tests from the ECU harness to the trans and everything comes out good. I have PIN 52 running to the SS1 solenoid, pin 19 for the SS2 solenoid and PIN 42 for the TFT sensor return. I have run resistance tests from the PCM connector to the trans solenoids and they all come back at 21 OHMS.
Is it possible I have a California ECU? They run different trans wiring diagrams BUT they also run different injector harnesses and I doubt it would run at all with Federal Wiring and a CA ECU?
What wiring diagrams did you use & did you try & keep the color codes straight? (i.e. common functions across the 93-95 divide)
Do you know there are slight differences concerning the resident location of a diode either in the solenoid pack of the 93 or the computer for the 95? (no idea if this would even matter in your case/codes)
I recently went with 94 5.0 conversion in my 5.8/E4 eventually using a HOG0 & there are some distinct differences the SD/Maf E4 wiring.
Would love to see you succeed with the Moates & report back.

That points to wiring up the transmission wrong. Take a look here: Ford Fuel Injection

There is no difference between between a "California" MAF and a "Federal" truck as far as wiring is concerned. MAF is MAF.
