HI, just wondering if someone can help. I have a 9 inch diff that came with my 56 F100. It is an early N case (pre 67) with the leaf spring on top so from a truck. The part number on the case is WAB-2 4025B . I have looked at lists of part numbers but this one doesn't seem to show up. If someone could help me figure out what year truck it was from it would be a lot easier to order brake parts etc. for it. Thanks for any help.

This is not a part number, it's a casting number. Casting numbers are foundry marks, cannot be cross referenced to Ford part numbers.
People swapping 9 inchers into their 1948/52 F1's and 1953/56 F100's use F100 9's from 1957/72.
Ford increased the width of the inner frame rails behind the cab on F100's in 1973 from 33 1/2" to 37 1/2," so people do not swap them in because the housing is wider.
