c5 frontend?

c5 frontend?
I just picked up a 1996 f350 srw front end,4:10 gears and limited slip info said it is a c5 front end,tried to look it up but no info,never heard of a c5,can someone have more info,I don't have tag numbers.thanks

The limited slip is in the rear axle. C5 is the code for the rear axle. It's implied the front axle is also 4.10. Without looking at the vehicle data tag on the driver side b-pillar (donor) or getting the info from the tag on the axle or opening it up you will not know for sure whether it actually has 4.10 gear and limited slip is a guess.
