UPDATE

I emailed NCDMV and after a week they replied to my question. If you have a F350 Dually and only will be towing a Travel Trailer all you will need is a standard Tag.
Just in time to as my registration is due at the end of this month.

The only reason I ask is because I keep getting different answers from everyone I speak with at the DMV. It seems I can't get a straight answer.

Well, if you let me know what your trying to find out. I'm pretty good about digging through the NC State Statutes to find the applicable information.

Yes. It will be. That truck is a pickup, so property carrying, not people carrying. And curb weight will put you out of a personal tag (I think like 4 or 5 k). Then it's just figuring out your operating curb weight (fuel, you, dog, tools, etc) and adding in any trailer (non camper based on the responses here) that you will tow regularly and that weight. If you don't tow regularly, then I'd just go with the weight you expect to have on the truck.
