i have a 2000 7.3 4x4 that I’m having some tranny issues with. It started with it getting too hot due to clogged cooling lines. Went through 2 pump seals before fixing that issue. Ran great for about 2 weeks and then it felt like the torque converter wouldn’t lock out. Limped it around town for a day or two and then it felt like it wouldn’t shift into overdrive. The last day I drove it it felt like I was driving a stick. I would hit the gas after being stopped and it would feel like nuetral for a second then pop into gear and go. I went out the day before to start it after it’s been sitting for a couple of weeks and put it in gear and it dies. If my chip is turned all the way up then it will stay running otherwise it just dies. I’m really trying to avoid having to rebuild the entire transmission. I’m hoping maybe it’s just the torque converter. I don’t really have much experience with transmission work. So I’m at a loss. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks y’all.
Tried removing the chip and nothing changed. OD light is not flashing but it also doesn’t light up when I hit the OD off button nor did the transmission change. So maybe it’s not working at all. (This was this way before all of the problems). I dont have access to pull the codes. The only code reader I have is to read check engine lights.

Well, you're going to have to find somebody that can pull the trans codes. You might have to bring it to a shop that can.
