diff oil change
I've been noticing some issues with the rear diff and want to pull the cap and just inspect. What should I be looking for? Both front and rear diff are stock, I'm guessing Dana 30 in front and 8.8 ford in rear (3:55) Never opened one up. Specifically I feel it slipping while towing uphill. It hasn't happened much and I'm not expecting to find much. Does this diff have clutch packs? If so, what are some wear symptoms I might feel? Just throwing out questions. Also, if no obvious problems are found, is there an additive that would be worth using. Front diff currently has SAE 75-145 synthetic and the rear SAE 80-90.
