3 of 4 Turn Signals Working

Looking for some feedback on my situation with a 2002 Sport Trac...

Turn signals were working fine until front driver's side turn signal stopped working.... I got the fast blinker issue, so of courese first thought was that it was a bad bulb... I checked all bulbs and they all appeared to be working... regardless I replaced the two front turn signal bulbs... still had flash... I replaced the turn signal relay... the fast flash stopped, but the bulb still doesn't flash... when the parking lights or headlights are on, the bulb lights up just fine... put the hazards on and the blub won't flash... pulled off the steering column cover to look for loose or broken wires, but found none...

Any ideas?

The parking lights are a separate filament than the turn signals and hazard lights. It sounds like you need to confirm whether or not you are getting good voltage to the appropriate wire when the turn signals or hazard lights are on. The wires you should be interested in are the light green with white tracer (voltage for turn signal filament) and black (ground) wires. The voltage across these two wires at the bulb socket should be nearly battery voltage. If not, there is a bad connection somewhere and you should try using a known good ground (versus the black wire at the socket) to confirm whether or not the ground is the issue. Probably not since the parking light sounds like it works fine, but a quick and easy check to make nonetheless.
