Hi FTE, I'm new to the forum - here's my 2000 XLT. I'm restoring it in Dubai, 1 of only 3 currently in the country. Looking for a few interior plastic parts if anyone can link me up with a seller? Thanks in advance
New OEM interior parts are getting difficult if not impossible find, and expensive if you do find them. That, plus trying to find a vendor who will ship internationally... that will be a tough road.
Which parts, specifically? If you are looking for stuff that is common to the F-250/350 interior, the donor pool of used/junkyard parts is bigger than Excursion-specific parts. eBay may be of some help, but you'll still face a possible shipping issue.
Might be better if you have a friend in the States to procure your desired items and handle shipping.
I use a reliable forwarding address in the United States for all vehicle parts, I've been restoring an 84 Caprice for a while now too (yeah I play both sides) although let me tell you the forums and sellers of parts for that vehicle are MUCH less helpful!
I'm mostly looking for door panels steering wheel and center console - I'd like to upgrade to the EB or Limited interior faux wood grain trim.
Ah, good. I had a black '84 Caprice - identical to the Florida Highway Patrol unmarked units the Leiutenants drove - sometimes a trooper sitting in the median would wave or even give a little salute as I drove by. Almost a get out of jail card.
I just saw some door panels on eBay... At least one of them is an XLT, though. None of them are inexpensive.
Some people do retrofits of Expedition or Navigator consoles, as they tend to be more plentiful (at least the Expedition ones). That said, the Excursion ones don't seem to get very bad, so you may have luck.
Front door panels are easy because they are the same as the F250 truck, rear door are larger and unique to the Ex so they are in short supply but can be found. Steering wheels are easy and new ones still available from the dealer as well as plentiful in wrecking yards and the used market.
the wood grain one is a bit harder to come by but that isn’t the issue, The Cruise and radio control system on the Woods is diffrent then the Ex and you either need to figure out how to adapt the wiring or convert to the Excursion button pods.
I remake steering wheels as a hobby starting with whole cow hides, hand dying the leather, making the patterns and hand stitching the leather, you can see on this woody how I epoxied the new location for the Excursions button pods.
Forgive my naivety, is tan and parchment the same color? I'm seeing adverts listed for both and would like to avoid investing in mismatched door panels and/or steering wheel!
Below are some examples I am currently watching:

Tan to my eyes looks slight darker than parchment but they may be the same - perhaps sun damage turns tan into a parchment? Your expert advice is appreciated!
Be careful using user assigned color names because people will call the same color by several different names. in the 00-05 excursion the color is "Medium Parchment" ford also has a parchment in other years and it is a different shade and Tan was never a Excursion color even though people will call it that.
as far as Matching all the Medium Parchments components, if look close you will see how they get around the issue and Ford does a decent job of blending all the components that are "Medium Parchment" but they have slight tone variations even when they are new.

pirate4x4_camo if only we had craftsmanship like that here. Certain standards are pretty low in the UAE but remains expensive so my only option I guess is to purchase a new oem steering wheel online from the United States. I found one on ebay (the link is in my above post) is USD425.70 the approximate market price for a new oem wheel with no horn cover?
