My rear Glass won't lock, either with the key or with the remote or interior switch. All other door locks work. I can hear action in the mechanism. Suggestions?

 

Take interior panel off and lube the mechanism. Just did it to our newly acquired one.

I had to get in there and blow out with air and scrape the dirt out with a screw driver and tooth brush. My Ex had lived 15 years of its life on a gravel road and was packed with dust. It killed the hatch sensors and the lock actuator in addition to gunking up the mechanism.
