I have a 2000 E-150. I believe I can get fully compatible replacement seats if they're coming from a '97-2010 van (please correct me if I'm mistaken!). Question is, 1.will F-150/250/350 seats fit the same bolt pattern as my van and be right width/height?
Also, has anyone replaced their van seats (passenger and/or drivers) with swivel bases successfully? I want to do this, but the doghouse seems like it would get in the way. Thanks in advance!!

F-Series seats are completely different in most every aspect from the E-Series. You are correct in seats from '97 until 2013 actually would be direct swaps mounting bolt-wise. The seat belt pre-tensioning devices will be different though as would the upholstery and trim parts though the different years. I believe the upholstered parts would be similar from '97 up to about '04, 2005 and later will probably be different.
I've seen numerous members on another site where making vans like the E-Series into small RV's have installed high quality swivel bases for use when parked. Most of those installations are easily accomplished, the owner's satisfaction mostly positive. Of course that's highly subject to what expectations are going into such a swap.
