I bought a new 2019 F-350 and got a free heated steering wheel.
Actually, my wife did. She said if I ever expect her to ride shotgun, the truck better be luxurious. Then she handed me HER checkbook and said go buy whatever truck I want, that is at least a Lariat Ultimate. Thanks, Wifey!
Thank you everyone for all your valuable suggestions. I will begin to purchase all the parts one by one. And I will keep doing my best to understand the process by reading the threads. When I do begin my project I will try to make a video and post it on here. Just to reiterate I have a 2016 Ford F150 Lariat 2.7 eco boost. Again thank you everyone who has done this and shared their knowledge. Would it be alright if I message some of you with questions?

Looks like they are using all stock parts so not truly a guinea pig situation. Seems like a super easy job especially with all the video instructions. $600 for all the parts seems pricey.... BUT..... honestly I never priced the parts out from Tascaparts.com or fordpartsgiant.com either so its just a guess. I upgraded my wheel from the XLT wheel to the Lariat leather wheel for $160..... but of course no heat. I would like to have a heated wheel but a third steering wheel at 6,000 miles even seems too crazy for me lol. Hopefully you do it and it works out. post a video if you do. thx
I agree with Liquid Steam. I can see doing the Lariat steering wheel upgrade but $600+ for heated steering wheel?! My wife insisted on heated seats and I thought that was silly until my back started to ache and discovered it helps a bit. After that, I'm putting on a nice pair of GLOVES. If you've got remote start, the heater is on and possibly the heated seats.. who's even going to need a heated steering wheel? You driving around in Alaska with the windows down? LOL

Until you've experienced having had your truck sit outside all day at -40 while you're at work, you probably can't 'grasp' how luxurious a heated steering wheel is. I sure didn't think much of it until I drove the wife's loaded Edge Sport one winter day. then I simply had to have it. LOL.
On another note, it wasn't just about having the heat. While that was very important to me, having the large paddle shifters that the Raptor wheel comes with have turned out to be equally as important. I've posted about it numerous times but having a gasser and hauling a huge TC while towing the SxS has been soooo nice for having full control of the rig.
Hello everyone, its been a while since I have posted on here. Today I bring good news. I have found a video on YouTube that will show step by step installation instructions for adding a heated steering wheel to the Ford F150 but not sure for what years this will work. I have a 2016 model and I think it will work for me. This video was posted on March 15, 2020 by Stupid Fast Truck. I think its a great video. Please check it out. Its just as good as the original installation tutorial video created by Ford that was removed from YouTube. I believe matt05 started this thread demonstrating and asking for some kind of tutorial. The video also mentions Greygoose Designs. Everyone, I hope this helps. Thank you all for bringing your knowledge to the table. Here are the links to the video and Greygoose Designs 1) Boosted GreyGoose Designs 2) F150 Heated Steering Wheel Installation:
I didn't even know i had it, until the weather got cold enough and I jumped in the truck, and what an awesome surprise. Definitely nice to have after a long walk to your truck in cold weather. Between that and the seats, it takes away that "holy **** hurry up and heat up" feeling.
