Anyone done it? Found this company offering a retrofit for 699.99 through Ebay, 100 off if you email them and don't go through Ebay. I'm really wanting to do it on my 18, but I'm not sure I want to be a Guinea pig.
Looks like they are using all stock parts so not truly a guinea pig situation. Seems like a super easy job especially with all the video instructions. $600 for all the parts seems pricey.... BUT..... honestly I never priced the parts out from Tascaparts.com or fordpartsgiant.com either so its just a guess. I upgraded my wheel from the XLT wheel to the Lariat leather wheel for $160..... but of course no heat. I would like to have a heated wheel but a third steering wheel at 6,000 miles even seems too crazy for me lol. Hopefully you do it and it works out. post a video if you do. thx
Thanks - let us know what you find out. I remember reading somewhere that on mine it might require forscan programming changes, cause I don't have the Ultimate package. Probably a little too involved but hey, if you find out it's straightforward, I may go for it too.

No forscan programming needed, manual control with the switch they installed on the steering wheel. Not integrated into the center screen like the factor option, will not come on when remote starting in cold weather like the factory setup. Still, pretty simple setup, anyone could do the install, should work with any level truck...very cleaver really! You are paying for that little harness and the switch they install on the steering wheel. But someone put the work in for a simple option to add a heated wheel, nice job!
I can’t seem to find any contact info other than a phone number, what email did you use? The website in the video www.funkswitch.com doesn’t have much info either. I also lucked out on eBay as well.
In the comments on the video it was posted. Still haven't heard back, but it is the weekend. To find it on Ebay you have to search like 15 F150 heated steering wheel.
I also have a F150 2016 and I can’t seem to find a video on how to install heated steering wheel from YouTube. It must’ve been taken down. If anyone can point into the right direction it would be greatly appreciated thank you.
ps. I have seen the video that was on YouTube so I know it’s possible but again the video has been removed. Also the number on the Funkswitch.com website is not in service when I called yesterday. So I’m not sure if they are reliable.

Reason: More info.
I really wish I had a heated steering wheel, never woulda thought it was such a nice feature until I drove the wife’s Denali.
kinda strange all the listings and vids are gone, maybe he burned someone’s car down or something.
I just went with a factory install on mine. Ordered the parts and got 'er done. There's another thread here with details.
Thank you guys for responding. Can anyone post a link to the “install threads”. I would prefer a factory install over after market. Again thank you guys for all your help.
