This is a nice article with hands on testing. The photo of the engine compartment looks like it might take a really large shoehorn to fit a V6 into the truck... Interior looks very nice and comfortable. Thanks for posting this link.

i think Ford will end up putting the 2.7 Ecoboost in the US Ranger Raptor (and maybe a diesel option??)

Without illumination from below or a better look, its hard to say. Considering what they can squeeze under the hood of most cars, fitting a V8 under this not-so-small truck hood should be no problem. I'm sure we'll see someone do it in the next 3 months.

The 2.7 EB fits in the Fusion, Edge, and a handful of Lincolns. The 3.0 TT(basically a punched out 2.7) fits in the MKZ and the Continental.
