Tailgate Ladder/step?

Since this post started, I have been shopping for a reasonably priced step, Amazon is about $260, nothing is economical anymore is it?! I HATE to drill into ANYTHING on my truck, and the folding step is the better option for my desires. While the ladder mod, installed on the tailgate, is a keen device, I have serious OCD just looking at the holes used for the base mount, and moreso for the strap to hold the thing in place. While economical, I cannot live with that, but that is MY OCD issue and I hope no one takes this as being critical of their use of that device.
While I would prefer the one in the tailgate that comes on the new trucks, that is worse yet for price. See, talking myself right back into buying the bumper step...... Analysis Paralysis is REAL folks!
