When I apply the brake I get a lot of shaking that I can feel a lot coming back through steering wheel Is this a indicating of bad brake pads bad rotor bad ball joint bad tie rod ends This is a 1994 F150 2 wheel drive thank
For starters I would raise a front tire and check wheel bearing play. Then pull the wheel and absolutely check pads and rotors. If that doesn't do it then you can and still should inspect the other parts you mentioned. Sandy

If you are not experiencing pedal pulsation, it's very likely your lower ball joints. With 124,000 miles on my F350, the ball joints were dangerously bad.

Sounds like warped rotors to me. In which case turn/replace and get some new quality pads. I could be what others have suggested as well. I'd jack it up and spin the wheel and see if it is smooth or makes a sound like it is dragging on part of the rotation. From my experience with these trucks this is usually the case.
