Fun stuff. I wish I had the time and money to take off work, pick up a manual and the proper tools, and really learn the ins and outs of these for a few weeks.

Thanks man! I'll definitely give it a look one my lunch break tomorrow. I'm having my transmission rebuilt the day after tomorrow, and adding an inline filter just to be safe. But it would be pretty cool to pick up a junkyard unit and rebuild it to learn and to have on hand. I've seen you pop up quite a bit in my frantic searching as well, seems like you give solid advice.
