So I am looking to put a Holley Sniper EFI on my 78 F100 302 and I’m trying to find the easiest way to add a fuel pump. I know I want to do an in tank fuel pump but would like to keep it as simple as possible, without costing an arm and a leg. After researching it my first thought was to go with a Tanks inc. retrofit kit. However my question to you all is, can’t I just add a walbro pump with a tray attached to the original pickup and accomplish the same thing? My issue is I have no problem modifying a tank, I’m buying a new one for the project reguardless, but if I don’t have to modify I know I won’t have any leaking/moisture issues which seemed to be one of the main issues others had.
