Fuel pump asy.

I think I found a solution to my small tank on my pickup.

I have a single 18 gal. tank on my 92 short wheel base pickup. What I am thinking of doing is switching it out with a 32gal tank from a full size bronco. I know the tire holder will have to go and I plan on adding a skid plate.

My biggest concern is the fuel pump assembly.

Will they matchup? Can I use the same assembly from my existing tank?

Any information will help in the matter. Thanks in advance.

No. The deeper Bronco tank uses a pump on longer tubes so it reaches the bottom of the tank. You have to get a matched set of tank & pump, and the pump must also match your fuel system. If your EFI is pre-91, you need the low-pressure in-tank pump; if it's '91-96, you need the high-pressure in-tank pump. I have a '96.
