2001 X Headlight switch

I have a 2001 X 4X4 with factory fog lights. I need to replace the headlight switch. No longer available from dealer. The truck does not have automatic headlights. It does have factory headlights. Can I use a 2003 headlight switch that has the automatic function? Not looking for the automatic function, just the factory parking, headlights and pull for fog lights. I can locate 2003 ford switches. Sure wish I could find an OEM switch.

Have you checked eBay, looks like there are plenty available.

My 2001 uses the oval style which is the same one used in the Explorer and Taurus.

I have a 2000 EX with the 7.3l....factory fog lights were not available for the 2000 model year. I have installed factory fogs using an external switch, but would like to have the factory switch. Pirate, do you know if the switch you suggest can be made to work with the set up I have? If so, how would I wire it?
