Hi I have a 2000 f250 that the heat or a/c do not work, I've checked the fuses and they are goid, I also checked the blower motor itself directly to battery and it works so I am trying to check the relay. Now I've done a lot of research online and they say the relay is located under the dash next to the flasher relay but when I check that location all I see next to the flasher is 2 seperate 5 pin relays # f57b-14b192-aa, when I look that up it says it's for the a/c clutch. Am I looking at the wrong ones, is it supposed to be a 4 pin or 5 pin. Please help I live in Michigan and I need heat in my truck, ty in advance.
Do you have the F250 with V10 (gas) or 7.3L (Diesel)? The blower motor and resistor are located in the engine bay on the passenger side firewall. Does your fan motor work at all? Only on high? Do you have heat but it’s just not being blown into the cab? Does the truck come up to operating temperature on the idiot gauge in the cluster?
When you buy the blower motor resistor, make sure you also buy a new pigtail connector as they usually are seized together and you’ll fight to separate them. Many places sell them together as a kit.

If he has no blower motor function at all and the resistor cannot cause that symptom, why would anyone be dinking with the resistor? Far more likely to just cause new problems by failing to focus specifically on what COULD cause the stated symptom.
