I love the Goodyear Kevlar Wranglers on mine. I have also had great luck with the Michelin ATX AT2's in the past but they sure liked to toss rocks. The biggest thing is tire pressures and regular rotations. So many people don't pay attention to this and wonder whey their tires don't last very long.

Just replaced my OEM Michelin (I got 44K out of them) with Continental TerrainContact A/T. Very hard to find poor reviews on these. At first I put on NItto Terra Grappler G2's and ended up taking them back due to vibration and overall poor ride. So far the Conti's have been solid. I read that they were the 2016 SEMA new tire winner and topped the Consumer Reports A/T tire ranks, for what it's worth.

Our 2018 F250 came with Michelin's. At 5500 miles now and there is rubber missing in small chunks on some of the front tread blocks. They do ride nice and quiet but really don't have good wet traction I don't think. Father in law used to swear by Michelin but his last two sets dry rotted (lots of small cracks in the rubber) well before the tread wear justified changing.

I should point out that the OE Michelins (the model that come on the truck from Ford) and aftermarket Michelins (replacements you buy at a tire store) are not the same. You really can't equate the OE LTX2 to the aftermarket Defender LTX. They are very different tires.

The OE Wranglers have been great on my truck. I haven't owned the OE Michelins but, as I noted above, every set I have seen on these trucks had wear issues. Everybody I know that has had aftermarket Michelin LTXs on their trucks loved them.

I don't have any experience with the OE Continentals either. I virtually never see them. I have owned several sets of Continentals and they were all excellent tires.

I love these tires as my future replacements. I only wish they came with white letters.

I have always had had good luck with Continentals.

I've been pleased so far with my Michelin tires in all my vehicles. The LTX A/S are different than the LTX A/T2, and both different from the Defender LTX M/S. The Defender series does not make an A/T tire, only a highway tire.

I would guess, although I can't prove it, that the OE Michelin LTX2 tires are different than the aftermarket Michelin LTX2 tires as well.

My F-350 came with the Michelin LTX A/T2 20 inch tires from Ford and I swapped them out for a set of the new Toyo Open Country A/T II AW tires. I had the Michelin's for a few days and I got stuck in the driveway at out office on the snow and it was perfectly flat with hard packed snow. I also got stuck twice trying to backup the driveway at our house, the incline at the road was too slippery, and I had to take a few runs at it to make it down the driveway. Four wheel drive did not help much. My wife kindly told me that her Jeep had no problems in two wheel drive and she would be happy to give me a pull lol.

The Michelin tires were definitely really quiet and rode nicely, however they were of no use with the snow or ice. The new Toyo tires are much much better for traction, they are super quiet and ride nice as well. They are supposed to be almost as good as a dedicated winter tire, but will also be good in the summer, with decent tread life. I was running the Open Country A/T ll Extremes on my Expedition and these AW tires are way quieter and offer a lot better traction in the ice and snow.

Wish mine came with the Good Year Silent Armor (Kevlar side wall) I had them on my previous truck and loved them! Don't like my Michelins In the winter (Peoples republic of Massachusetts ugh) but can't justify to wife that I "need" 6 new tires when I only have 11k miles on the truck.

Both of my trucks, '15 F250 and '17 F350, came with 20" wheels and Michelin's. My friend has a 17' F250 with stock 18's, and his came with Goodyears. That seems to be the norm from what I've seen.

I agree with the others, the Michelins are a good on road/highway tire and suck off road. I can't justify the cost of a better AT tire since I don't offered much, but it's crossed my mind many times.
