Not sure if this is the case, but I think the LED package turns all lights LED on the truck. Every light, from the interior to the exterior is all LED. Even the liscence plate lights, they're thin waferlike boards with an led attached.
For $1200 I’d take the halogen and spend $60 on Amazon and order beam tech replacement led bulbs. Mine are bright as the sun. That being said, I do really like the led halo around the factory leds
The light is whiter, but still I find myself turning on the high beams when they are already on. The halogen projectors on my 2005 Land Rover are far better. I would say they are worth 3 to 5 hundred extra for the whiter light and the long life of all the bulbs in the truck. But no, not worth the over $1,000 sticker!

you are correct, except for the visor mirror lights.....why not those....who knows.
Honestly led lights shouldn’t even be an upgrade. LED bulbs cost no more than halogen bulbs for them to put in. Kia’s come with LED’s, but ford wants a grand to add them to my 75k truck? Get out of here with that s**t

im the opposite. I would have paid $1200 easy for leds on my truck, but leds required a bunch of other options and would have raised my purchase price $5000. In fact, if I remember correctly you couldn’t get a lariat with leds without getting a sunroof in 2017. How jacked up is that?

That is correct and is why I don’t have the LED lights. Can’t tell you how irritated I was about that. My next truck will have them now that I can get them without the sunroof. I’ve had LED headlights in most every car I’ve had in the last 7 or so years and I do prefer them. Having said that, I don’t mind the halogens in the truck, they’re not THAT bad. As good as the LEDs are, I still don’t think they’re as good as some of the great HIDs. My last LS460 had incredible HIDs that were significantly better than the LEDs in the new LS500.
I had them on my 2017 f250 n loved them. When i got 2019 f450 w sports package I had no choice n couldn't get them since they come w blacked out headlight housing..but I rather have the led ..remember it's not just the headlights..the taillights r also led when u get the option .
the halogen lights suck, I went beamtech off of amazon and other then looking nice they are not comparable to the stock LED option or HID options that ive had on other vehicles. I would pay the 1k price tag for the stock LED option if it were available on my XLT premium trim (its frustrating that you need to go so high up in trim to get them. It should be available or standard on all superdutys to differentiate them in the HD truck world)
I didnt opt for them when ordering my 2019. We rarely drive at night and I thought the lights were overpriced. Maybe I was wrong by passing them up?
Can anyone post a side by side comparison with a SD having the stock lights vs the LED's?
It is a VERY EXPENSIVE option on a Lariat build as it requires dropping the Lariat value package and adding the Lariat Ultimate package:
Adding:
Quad-Beam LED Headlamps/Tail lamps also requires the following changes
Remove Power Equipment Group
LARIAT Value Package
Fog Lamps
