Just fixed mine last week. BOTH front doors were driving me bat crap crazy. Into the dealer twice. They added foam weatherstripping under the panels, with no success. To repair it:
Remove the door panel ( easy to do, lots of you tube videos)
Of the roughly ten clips that attach the panel, TWO are metal. Those are the culprits.
You could probably clip them off, but I just took a small screwdriver and expanded the male end of the clips so they fit tighter in their respective sockets.
Put everything back together, and quiet as a mouse.
