My truck was once a Massachusets truck. That being said, the place where the door skin wraps under and tack welds to the inner door panel got rusted. All the doors with the exception of the driver back seat door are structurally fine. Has anyone ever seen a patch panel for inside of the door? The area where the rubber air seal goes is gone. I guess I can make a patch panel, but there are a lot of angles to duplicate. I have seen many a door like this so I am sure someone has come up with something.
Thanks Scaler, that is the same problem I had come across earlier in my searches. They have the inner door panel for crew cabs only, no extended cabs, they have the outer skin for the extended cab door but not the inner. Oh, well, welding practice here I come.
I haven't found lower inner rear super cab doors panel but there is front door inner lower panels. The best price I found was from Raybucks. You might also want to check with Sherman Parts.
I need to replace my inner and outer cab corners, rear lower door pillars and front passenger lower inner door panel so I've been looking for repair panels for awhile.
Have you checked salvage doors? I would think replacing the whole door would be much easier but I have no idea what kind of money they are getting. If they are available of course.
As far as salvage doors go.....there are a lot of trucks driving around with salvage titles where I live, but no super duty trucks in salvage yards (at least local). I haven't gotten the confidence up yet to deal with online salvage yards.

Same here, hardly ever find a truck in the junk yard, lots of GM products, though, lol
