1st thread post and man I’m having a tricky situation with my 2004 V10 excursion. While driving my car will completely die on me and takes about 5-10 min to start back up. It’s throwing no codes and I have changed the fuel pump and fuel filter and is still dying on me... Any suggestions of what this problem could be?
Are checking for codes using Forscan or Another ford specific program ? Generic scanners only read OBD ll codes.
How much fuel fuel is in the tank according to the gauge ? If it’s around a 1/4 tank try putting 5 gallons in, the fuel pick up on some Ex falls off and then doesn’t work below a certain point.
Also battery voltage ? Any other strange electrical anomaly’s accuse when it dies ?
