Okay just returned from a trip and the Sending unit finally arrived 2 days late. Took it over to the mechanic and we put it into the tank. had to push it down about an inch or so against the bottom of the tank.
Also there were some clips in the bag does anyone know where they go? Also is there any specific orientation? I left it all with the Mechanic and want to make sure he uses them correctly.
Supposedly will get the truck back tomorrow so we will see how it goes

Also, I assume now I will need to get the unit spanned properly, anyone have any ideas, experience or thoughts on this?

All who have been helping out and following, I have started a new thread with the latest problems i am having with the sending unit in the F250 Section.
I would appreciate if you guys that have helped me in the past on this will take a look at the new thread and see if there is anything help and advice wise you guys can provide
