saddle tank dosn't work?

saddle tank dosn't work?

hi i have a 91 250 with a 460 and duel tanks and have forever been using the rear tank because when i bought it from the previous owner he told me that when he acclerated the truck hard it would "fall on its face" but that was only on the saddle tank the rear tank however works perfect.

any ideas to what was causing this?
and im pretty sure that there is only one filter sooo..

OK what do you mean by saddle tank?
Do you have a flat bed with an after market fuel tank on the outside of the frame?

sry its my front tank it "saddles the frame" lol im not sure why i called it that..

I take it then it is a stock front tank on a pick-up truck.
I would say if what he said is true then the front FDM is bad.
