Just left my local dealer and asked them to enable my filter status as it did not come that was on my 2018 F250 Lariat. Took all of 15 mins and they even did it free of charge. Now just waiting to see if it hits 100% to see if I can do the ORC. Below are some pics I pulled from other threads to show them at the dealer. I also noticed that they enabled an "Auto regen" option that noe shows up in my option settings
I had that on my "15 F250 and want it on my F350 but don't see a blank screen on my dash choices like there was on the F250. Where does the status screen show up on yours?
DPF % soot full can be done in Forscan or the IDS by Ford. However the auto and manual regen has to be done in the IDS only. I have this too, done by the dealer. But so far never have aphid to disable auto regen and run a manual. But it is nice to have the option in case I am in the bush and I need to force a regen but I can drive enough to get it done properly.

I didn't have a blank screen either. Once they enabled it in the "fuel" settings with the IDS, it then showed up under the truck tab. After it showed up in the truck tab, I can then add it to the "My View". The "Auto Regen" on/off also appeared in the setting tab in the far right.

Well, that’s actually good if Forscan can do it. Last I looked it seemed unreliable, but if that’s better now great. I didn’t have Forscan when I got my dealer to do the DPF % in the IDS, so I wasn’t looking for this I guess. Also, it’s been a year and a half since I was in the spreadsheet because I have all my stuff done right now.

You do not NEED IDS or a trip to a dealer to enable manual regen.
I added / enabled the auto/manual regen option on my own truck using FORScan....I even wrote it about it in the FORScan thread of this forum - post number 3850 provides screen shots of the option being edited.
Guessing I can ask this question since we’re all talking about regens, etc. I have not seen the display of “Cleaning Exhaust Filter” in my ‘18 F350 like on my ‘15 F250. Am I just missing it or did something change?

no such thing on the 17+
not even when you add the DPF % full to the dash display.
you can monitor the fuel consumption history (and watch for the sudden PLUMMET in the MPG) or you can use FORScan Lite (iOS/'droid) and monitor the regen status....
That’s what I’ve been doing and watching the increase in boost. Not sure I miss it. In my F250 I had the % screen and a bunch of times I could see I was 95% or full and was almost home. Felt the need to keep on the highway and go through a regen. Drove me a little nuts.

Ive enabled manual ReGen's - unless im traveling a distance or running the truck long enough to (fully) complete a regen - I keep the auto-regen turned off or disabled.

Do you monitor the Forscan Lite as you're driving or just periodically when you want to check something?

both! really depends on the trip....
on long trips I ping pong back and forth between WAZE and FORScan Lite.
on short trips or running around locally - I generally only look at FORScan if I know I'm getting close to a ReGen...or when I initiate one.....
generally I run w/ Auto-ReGen disabled....if im 15 or 20 minutes (or more) from stopping or home I'll turn on AUTO-ReGen - knowing I have enough drive time to fully complete the ReGen.
Than particular screen shot was during a 1400 mile (non-stop) drive - Northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia to Houston....it was quite cold that day....11*, dipping to 4* during.
