Where are these pages 249 and 256 y'all speak of? My viewer says this is page 96 of 96. Would using the post number be more accurate?
Agree if your viewing this thread (and others) via an iPhone or android I’d imagine there will be more pages. It’s better to refer to posts not pages as viewing screens will differ.

Make sure you have the latest version of FORSCAN. Change the IPC first. No need to use the asbuilt. Go straight to the module. There are 2 Settings to change but I don’t remember which off hand. One for the check box and another for the percentage. Nextgo to the pcm and make the change there. You will be able to uncheck the box After the pcm change is done.
I'm missing the Auto ReGen - check box, all together (I feel certain it was there).
What do I need to do to get the option back?
What do I change to enable the check box?
You say there are TWO changes? Yet the spreadsheet only has ONE change documented.
Where is the documentation for TWO changes?
So I am not sure if I am having the same issues as bushpilot above.
I can program all other modules, body control, APIM, however anything I try and write to the IPC won't "stick" as bushpilot says.
I tried to add DPF %, and temperature values to the IPC, I select write, the bottom bar goes up to 100%, but never says the typical "successfully programmed" etc. I also noticed it like kicks me out of the IPC as I have to hit the play button again to go back in. When I go back in the original values are still there.
Anyone else experience this issue only on the IPC?
Truck is a 2019... If that makes a difference
is your ms/hs switch in the correct position to write to the IPC?

dont use the “asbuilt” for these changes. Use the module itself in FORSCAN. The regen checkbox is the second or 3rd option in the IPC. The % option is further down.

I already have the DPF % screen.
you keep saying 2nd or 3rd option down? down where? in forescan? the spreadsheet? where?
Im sorry are you addressing my post regarding the autoregen?
sorry can you give me that in plain English again?
IPC (non)-as built - do I change 720-07-02? to what?
then go into PCM? and change which module?
Page 249? where?
why would I have to edit PCM? its not documented that way in the spreadsheet.
Yes, I was answering you. To do the auto regen checkbox you do not make any hex changes. You do what's called plain English changes. This means you go into the IPC module in Forscan. Not the IPC as built module. When you do there is a real menu with drop down menu changes that you select what you want then click write. You do the same in the PCM module which is shown on page 249 of this thread. Again, no hex changes there. Just a real menu where you make a selection. Go to page 249 and start reading. This is where it was first posted on the method. I did mine shortly after with success. There are two changes necessary to make the auto regen check box work. The first is in the IPC. Once you turn on the check box in the IPC it will appear but you can't uncheck it yet. The second you do is in the PCM. There is where you select option three in the manual regen pop up menu. Once you've written both changes the check box will appear and will be functional.
On the first, this is the option to turn on the check box. Change it to enabled and write.
On the second, option 1 is the factory setting and with it, you can't deselect the auto regen check box you created in the last step. Option 2 doesn't allow you to deselect either. Not sure of the difference between the two. Only option three allows you to leave the box checked to function as factory AND the option to deselect at will. You can also do a static (stationary) manual regen when soot levels are high enough with option 3 selected.

THANKS!
Ok was just playing with it - my filter was at 99% (in auto mode), soon as I gained control - It showed FULL...Clean soon....really ramped up the RPMs (2k) while parked.
I noticed just about any action interrupted the cleaning.
Can a (manual) cleaning be performed while driving?
I could have used this back in December when I was Re-Gen'ing every 497 miles and my filter was barely 30% full.....would have made for some nice MPG during my 1400 mile drive.
I supposed (in the winter), when it finally fill I can pull over and toss it in to auto mode and move on or wait by the side of the road
wouldn't it be nice if we could change some of these advanced features while rolling
