Hey there
just getting started with a build. Picked up a 72 camper special for a decent price. Just got it on Yesterday and have been looking into issues. Didn’t start but I’ve fixed that already. Now I need to get some new rubber under her since the tires are rott and one is bulged. But it’s a running truck now and for $800 I think I did okay. 360/C6 F250. Just going to get it looking decent and driving good for now and the rest will happen slowly.
Anyway. Meet my new project “Gael”
Looks like a good start for build project. Body panels look straight, any rust through? How's the bed floor condition?
Is the dash unmolested with original gauges?

rust in the bottom corner on the drivers side. Just right at the corner. The bed is a little interesting as in it has a hydro ram and tilts. No major rust though. And it’s relatively straight. Missing the upper moldings though. Interior is decent and original. Just aftermarket radio. Seats need refreshed and the rear window has a broken slider but it came with original glass to go back in. The floors of the cab are nice and solid too with original carpet that’s actually pretty decent.
Theres definatly a lot of work to do but it should be fun doing it.
Well I decided what tire size I want to go with and have them mounted on the rims that came with the truck at time of sale. Wasn’t sure if I’d like the silver but turns out I do. I went with 265/75/16 10 ply which seem to fit into the wheel wells nicely.
