New (old) Supercab
Hey guys,
Once again I am the proud owner of a 70's pickup. I found another old supercab. This time it's a 1974 F250 Custom, camper special, with the 390 and C6.
It's a two owner truck with only about 34K original miles. The first owner put 20K on it running back and forth to California, then put it in storage. The second owner has had it for about 5 years and did all the hard work of getting it back to daily driver duties. He did all the work right and didn't take any short cuts.
Unfortunately, the midwest climate is getting to the body. It's got the typical rust areas over the wheel wells and along the bottom rear of the cab. But, the cab floor, mounts, and bed floor are all still very solid. Shouldn't be too hard to get the body back to solid condition. The interior is pretty decent, just a split in the driver's seat. The dash and trim are all nice with no cracks. It also has factory AC.
Got a couple pictures in my gallery, let me know what you think. I will try and get a few more pics loaded. I ended up paying about $2500, a little too much for a 4x2, but with the solid mechanicals and knowing the history, I couldn't pass it up. He wouldn't budge on the price either! The truck runs and drives like new.
