Parking break cable stretched?
I think one of my parking breaks cables is stretched
rear breaks are just rebuilt new shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders
Break engaged

break disengaged

What year/series is it, 2WD or 4WD?

Steel cables dont stretch....to that extent. Most likely, the longer one is incorrect for your application.

Wow, a highboy with a np203 that still has its original transfer case brace! Nice!

Gotta love Arizona rust is not a big problem here
just everything rubber dries out

You sure the brakes are adjusted the same? Looks like one side is not adjusted correctly.

All highboys were long beds, unless it's a crewcab truck.
