Cheap battery cable fix

I picked a solder on battery cable terminal at the local oreillys tonight that worked great for the passengers side cable. I just soldered the starter cable in one end and the cable going to the other battery in the other then soldered a smaller copper terminal on the wire going to the solenoid and put it on the bolt. Got the parts for about $13.

The large cable fit tight so I shoved it in then heated the outside of the terminal and filled it with solder then pushed the smaller cable going to the driver's side in and waited for the solder to cool.

Did you have to heat the cable too, or just the terminal?

. Mostly just the connector. I did put a little heat on the cable just allowed to pull the solder down into it
