Once a month if that. Like I said a lot of it depends on the humidity (am in Arkansas) It will also depend on other factors as each engine is different. The catch can I have has a dip stick in it so I can check it. I have never emptied out more than a couple ounces and that was after a weeks worth of constant rain. It's mostly water from moisture vapor in the engine. Has a little oil in it which is normal,but it keeps it from building up on the inside of the intake and on valves and such.
