hey guys!!
I’d like some feed back on emissions intact tuning if anyone had any experience. I just purchased a new 2018 lariat and was going to remove Egr an Dpf but I just can’t bring my self to do it. My experience with most tuning at this point has been less than favorable.
I am in the same boat bud. To take it a step further I live in Cali so I have to get smogged for now. Moving to a town soon that does not require it but stil wouldn't delete even if I could. I have been reading every dam thing I can find on the subject. There is a vast amout of options. I really want something I can adjust with my phone because.. I want it as stealth as possible (wifey doesn't need to know either 😆. I have narrowed it down to some possibilities. I am thinking about getting the EZ-LYNK and Calibrated tunes. It's kinda pricy but in the end it is the most versatile, hidden and biggest bang witout deletion.
I too am in the same boat. Live in So Cal and just got it smogged a month ago. I have 23 months until it needs to be smogged again. I am debating on deleting but would be interested in emissions intact tuning. @Lvrkight6481 , when does your box come in?
I'm from Canada and just ordered up emission intact tuning as well, ill be sure to post back once I get it installed and a few hundred KM on it. I went with Proven Diesel out of Alberta.
I went with superchips for intact tuning, which is CA legal. With that said on the extreme setting it is only seeing about half what the deleted and tuned guys are getting power wise with 120hp/220TQ to the wheels (CLAIMED BY SUPERCHIPS). It is very noticeable in acceleration especially when it comes to Ford's power limiting in first through third gear. It does regeneration a little more often but nothing that should be concerned about. I get about one mpg better when not hot rodding around. I would reccomend if not wanting to delete and be CARB legal. I would love to be deleted but CA sucks. This is the next best thing if wanting to be legal.

I was looking at going with the Superchips as well. My issue isn't smog but rather a 100K bumper to bumper warranty... Does the Superchips programmer allow you "to go back to stock" and temporarily delete the program incase you need to bring the truck in for warranty work?

It flashes the computer so it is detectable if the dealer were to dig that deep, even if you were to return to the stock setting.
