When I bought the truck the O/D switch cover at the least was missing, I bought a Dorman replacement but it was completely wrong, I now need to replace the entire lever WITH the O/D switch.
In searching I've only found OEM and Dorman 905-109 part number.
They say the Dorman part 905-109 is NOT correct for the Ranger application.
Anyone have experience with these? How about the actual replacement?
I have watched YouTube videos on how to do the replacement on F-150s, wondering if its the same basic procedure for the Ranger?
Thanks Folks!
Possibly. The O/D switch/button looks like the ones used in the F-150s and Econolines…….these vehicles have the O/D light on the DASH v/s on the end of the shift lever like the F-250s and F-350s.....
I think I pulled the part of the broken, but still operative switch out when it doesn't look like it should have been removed....
I just need to get the right, correct complete lever and replace it now....
