Alternatively, you could re-use the old sensor from the old mirror, and just figure out a way to attach it to the new mirror.

well guys I’ve got the new mirrors on. What I did was unpin the two wires from the sensor off the old 22 pin connector and then pulled the sensor out by taking the mirror apart and then I just plugged those pins into their original spots on the new mirrors 22 pin connectors and just put the sensor in the mirror. Has been working so far. Thanks for yalls help!
yes it currently has the temp sensor in the passenger mirror. But the mirrors I bought do not have a sensor in them. So I think I’m going to buy the sensor and pigtail this guy has on his 17 and connect it to the same spot on mine and hopefully that does the trick. If it works that would be great and save me a lot of time.
Did this work out? Just put used tow mirrors on my wife's 2020 and they don't have the sensor.
