Temp sensor
I have a dealer add on ford accessory part no.XF2Z17700A It is a mirror with a compass and temp sensor.The sensor is bad and trying to locate a replacement part or the part number.It happens to be different than the factory unit.And the dealer has been zero help.

A quick google search shows that the mirror is manufactured by Gentex, a part of Mito Corp.

I just bought the same mirror kit off ebay, brand new in the box. Only thing missing was the installation/wiring instructions. Any chance you still have your wiring instructions or remember the hook up? My mirror has a 7 pin plug but seems I only have 4 wires. Two of them (12+ and 12-) are already attached to the plug on the wiring harness...but neither is labeled. The temp probe wiring harness has two wires that will need to be inserted into the 7 pin plug on the wiring harness...but again, I don't know which ones to use.
Any help out there is really appreciated!
