So I've got this intermittent fast blinker that's just started.. I've only noticed on the left turns. It appears that my signals are operating correctly during this.
But I will start with normal cadence then it will speed up for about 3 or 4 seconds then go back to the normal cadence.
Have you done any wiring mods to those curcuits? Are you getting a dash warning for any bulbs out that are also intermittent? When I had a trailer tail light out, I even got a warning and the faster blinking on that side. Is there something conducting in your trailer plugs, in the box, on the bumper....
First start with verifying that both the front and rear bulbs are working properly when you are having the problem, if they are infact good and being that it is a 2017 I would check the problem connectors at the rear of the truck on both sides for water entry. Although most people only talk about the connectors on the left the right can also have the same problem. If you find water and presuming you are still under warranty have the dealer install the updated wire harness. If you just clean and dielectric it will come back down the road.
Think I've figured it out. The driver side rear light housing has moisture all in it. I'm assuming that is causing a fault. My cousin that has a 17 350 plat. had his do the same thing he told me within 2000 miles of new...
